I posted earlier that you people should not start coming for resumption or back to school. That info was not only for the freshers but also for old students too. I have many causes or justifications why I said so. One of the major reasons is that the "said" UNN 2015/2016 timetable was never from UNN and it was never made official anytime anywhere in UNN official website except on some ones' owned; individuals, private and personal websites which UNN has nothing or no business to do with.
Even if at all UNN once said so in her official website which we never did, UNN is not yet in a fit state to resume.
FRESHERS:
For all my years in UNN as a student till I graduated and for the few years I have worked in UNN so far, I have never seen a set of circumstances where freshers resume or come for clearance without paying acceptance fee or without knowing which way to follow in doing this. UNN has never put her freshers into this kind of disorderly jumble or made such civil commotions before by asking them to start coming back to school without paying even acceptance fee, to come and do what please? What has UNN asked you to do as a fresher which they have given you a course or lines, the guidance, the point to or from which or how to do it apart from profile update? Profile update alone doesnt mean you have done anything, as a matter of fact; you are stil not a student of UNN until you do your profile update, pay your acceptance fee and print out your admission slip. These are the things that you will present in student affairs for them to give you a temporary accommodation if it will be provided. Things are not going the way they should go, things are not the way they should be, freshers are confused and UNN is more confused, so do not start school with confusions because its not in the doctrine or custom of UNN to confuse her freshers.
If school is meant to resume on the 29th October for the freshers as rumoured, assumed and hear-said which has doubtful accuracy, you are supposed to, atleast be able to pay your acceptance fee by now. Normally, prior to resumption, even 3 weeks to resumption date, freshers are always able to pay their acceptance fee, pay school fees and even apply for hostel before resuming. I know how many freshers I helped in applying for their hostels previous years before they resumed; most of them simply came back that day and packed into their official hostels same day. And we all know that you cannot make a formal request for hostel without paying the acceptance fee and school fees first, which means they did all these weeks back before resumption date. The person that said "Exprience is the best teacher" has no error in judgement. An exprienced person in a system is older and wiser than an inexprienced person in that particular system.
The assumed resumption date "29TH OCTOBER" is just 2 days yet nobody has been able to pay acceptance fee let alone school fees and hostel. So what are you resuming to do? To be hanging around or be floating?
Even if UNN officially brings out her sequence of scheduled events for 2015/2016 this night and resumption date for the freshers becomes 29th October, then it must be a joke or an official mistake.
UNN is confused, even more confused than her freshers and old students. UNN is so confused to the extent that even the person you believe that will know "whats up" doesnt know including the VC.
Change of degree application is stil on hold which under normal circumstances, it was supposed to have stopped and names of those who are successful are compiled and sent to their new departments for verifications by now. All the foams and pillows bought for students (either for the freshers or for the old students) were supposed to have been shared and distributed to the various hostels unless they want the staff in student affairs department to be using them for the siesta because they are stil in student affairs department till this minute. Nothing is happening in UNN, no sign that school is resuming soonest.
UNN is already confusing both her freshers and old students but people like us who act for UNN in info (agents) are not supposed to bring more confusions into your already confused heads, thats not why we are here. We are here to make things clear to you or to make things clearer to you the ones that are not well understood by you, we are here to make sure you dont make mistakes. So in my own opinion and suggestion, do not start coming to school yet for resumption until we know what UNN is upto. This info about resumption is also for the old students.
As for the release of supplementary lists, am sure some of you must have known my system of info by now. Before I say something that is not yet official or that will stil be official, it doesnt fail just like I did before putme dates and others. There are many official things I cannot make or say officially before they are made official, its "gossip". Why would I tell you that supplementary list will be out so so day when it will actually come out that so so day? If it comes out on that so so day, you will definitely see it, so keep calm, there is always good to be a state of anxious uncertaintity or expectation, thats part of the fun in it.
