Reports currently reaching me from University of Abuja is that there is an uproar in the community pertaining to the sudden increment of fees leaving most students and respective student body agitated over the sudden rise.
They say the sudden rise is an act of administrative oppression which will not be entertained now or at any point in time.
Although the reason for the fee increment hasn’t been totally confirmed, students have maintained that its totally uncalled for and they are requesting for immediate revert.
The fees which saw an increment of N1,800 for returning students and N6,800 for new students has left students with the mantra #BringBackOurFees.
In spite of all the rage, students have been urged to maintain peace and sanity whilst the student union and other representing body try to come to a resolution with the school management.
