Gobel Marine Services Limited was incorporated as a limited liability
company in March 2011 and commenced business as a Marine and Shipping
Company in the maritime sector of Nigerian economy in May 2013. We
currently operate with three oil chemical tankers namely MT Adeline, MT
Emmanuel and MT Princess Oge with a total carrying capacity of over
50,000 Metric Tonnes. Our target is to grow this fleet through the
acquisition of more vessels.

Job Title: Supercargo
Job Location: Nigeria
The Job
- Protect the interest of the company throughout vessel journey.
- Coordinate, monitor and report on cargo from load port to destination port
- Degree (minimum OND) in Maritime studies, Nautical science or related Logistics management or Degree from a recognized Maritime Academy (Captains A-Class Diploma or Captains B-class diploma).
- Minimum of 3 years working experience as Supercargo and or Marine Surveyor
- Basic Standards of Training, Certification and Watch-keeping (STCW) Certificates
- Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET)
- Basic survival techniques training
- Knowledge of cargo documentation (Bill of lading, Mate’s receipts, hatch list, etc.)
- Experience including cargo stow, ballasting, stow plans, stability, budgeting operating costs for cargo activities
- Proficient in cargo calculations
- Knowledge of the applicable industry Maritime regulations.
