The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is considering migrating to the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode of examinations for objective questions.
According to the Head, National Office of WAEC, Mr Olutise Adenipekun, one of the council’s objectives was to consider migrating to CBT in all its objective questions in line with current technological trends.

According to him, the council is pursuing this with vigour and is looking toward its realisation soon.
Adenipekun said that the council would partner the Ministries of Education at the federal and state levels in exposing teachers to training on the new processes and procedures to standardised tests.
He said that the process would expose the Nigerian child to the benefits of information and communication technology, which was currently driving national economies. (NAN)
