FRESHERS:
They say that when a fowl comes in a new environment, it stands with one leg. In as much as its claimed that there is security in UNN, they are only good in chasing shadows most times, so dont take because you see security department inside campus and you wont be careful on how you move or guard your things.
Recently, the rate at which people loss their laptops, phones, etc inside campus at gun point, knife point, slap point, etc are becoming alarming. So guard your things jealously. Many have also complained how some have even lost their phones even inside their rooms both in male and female hostels through the window and by their room/hostel mates, so always be at alert even in your hostels. Do not keep money or leave your phone inside your bag when you drop your bag outside the library while going there to read because thats another point of target where these hoodlums always dont joke with.
Security alert aside; now be informed that lectures have commenced and nobody is waiting for you to be ready or come back, so get your things together and come to school and follow your mates in what they are doing.
JUPEB STUDENTS:
This is to inform you that lectures have started for Jupeb. Even though the procedures on how you can go about your payments for your acceptance fee, school fees, etc have not been given so far, this doesnt prevent you from attending lectures. Timetable is out and lectures have commenced.
THOSE IN ENUGU CAMPUS:
Regarding your accommodation, kindly have some patience because arrangements are being made to start creating bed space and hostel allocation for you soon, you are not forgotten. Same is applicable to old students in Nsukka campus. Next hostels to be allocated will be Okpara and Bello halls.
FRESH STUDENTS AND ACCOMMODATION:
Your hostel allocation will start working when UNN is done uploading the details of those admitted through the 2ND supplementary list in UNN database. So, do not panic, you will surely get accommodation very soon
