I am sure that by now, most people have completed their Post UTME online application for their different choice of institutions and ready to make a move for the entrance examinations which as i believe would kick off this week and with this, i want to remind all my respective students what they need to bring to the examination halls, How to stay safe in their examination towns.

As you may know, the school you choose to study in is more or less located in an area you've never been to and as such, i will recommend that you make sure you get there on time in order to afford yourself the opportunity to know a few landmarks. This is important for those who actually has no one to receive them there, those who actually plan to lodge in a hotel for a night or two.

Another thing you should have in mind is that it is examination time when people from far and wide would converge in a place at a particular time and as a result, crime will be high. I am not saying that you are going to get robbed, but there is almost a 60% chances that this will happen if you do not plan your movement as you ought to.

I would like to make a list of some important things you must not forget before you head to the examination and before i do that, i must tell you to try as much as you can not to walk into the examination hall with an empty stomach. This is because you need all the best performance you can get from your brain as regards to recalling all you've read in the past. I know it is not possible to remember all but at least, you should have a working brain that can think and process fast and give you the answers you would need to pass this exam and a weak brain cannot offer you this.

you must make sure to go with the following things to your respective schools as they would help you in many ways in order not to find your self in embarrassment.

1 Do not forget your Post UTME registration form (The print-out)
2 Go along with more than one pencil and more than two pen
3 If you can, bring your o'level result with you as you may be required to submit this especially those going to Polytechnics.
4 Get a working calculator (for those in science and engineering).
5 Its a strange land so do not walk with an empty pocked because you do not know when you'd become stranded along the way.

These are among the things you should bring. For those going to delta state polytechnic, Ozoro, i would suggest you bring your local government of origin along with the receipt you used in purchasing your form, your Jamb result and 4 passports.

Where you have no one familiar with the environment to walk around with, please stay indoors until you have completed your mission and ready to head back home and do not talk excessively. Beware of pranks from your fellow applicants and do not engage in fights because you actually do not know the next man standing beside you.

These are the few words i have for you as you go for your examinations and i pray you go and come back successfully.
