EBSU Gets Invaded By Armed Robbers, Carts Away With Over N10 Million From ATM

An Automated Teller Machine (ATM) belonging to an old generation bank in the College of Agricultural Science, CAS, of the Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki was on Tuesday reportedly invaded by hoodlums, carting away over N10 million, earlier loaded in by the bank officials. 

The robbers, according to a source, first sacked the security officials at the entrance gate before entering the bank.

The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Chris Anyanwu who confirmed the robbery incident revealed that the actual amount stolen by the robbers was yet to be ascertained. Investigations, Anyanwu however said, has commenced.
