The Nigerian Communications Commission NCC has finally released the results of the 2014 NCC National Essay Competition, in which we see another UNN domination.
The Essay competition
based on the topic; BROADBAND: A CATALYST FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT,
commenced December 2014 and closed January 2015.
The
essay competition which received entries from undergraduates of
different Universities nationwide saw five (5) University of Nigeria
Nsukka students in the first ten list with two of them claiming the 1ST
and 3RD prize.

* 1st Prize Winner — Odonoekuma Onyebuchi Ekuma (UNN, Faculty of Medical Sciences)
* 1st Prize Winner — Odonoekuma Onyebuchi Ekuma (UNN, Faculty of Medical Sciences)
* 2nd Prize Winner — Abdulkareem I. Abdulkareem (University of Ilorin)
* 3rd Prize Winner — Asogwa Chijioke Peter of the (UNN, Dept: Medicine and Surgery)
According to the organizers,
First Prize winner receives N500,000 cash prize+Laptop and Printer.
Second Prize receives N300,000 cash prize and
There will also be consolation prizes for the participants that made the first ten list.
The consolation prize winners are:

2) Ucheoma Chimdinma Kelechi (University of Port-harcourt)
3) Amusa Tajudeen Lasisi (Federal University of Technology Minna)
