NSUK Prelim Studies 2015/16 Entry Requirements, Payment Method & Available Programmes

NSUK Prelim Studies 2015/2016 application form has been announced. The Entry Requirements, Payment Method & Available Programmes for the programme for the 2015/2016 session has also been released. All prospective applicants are hereby informed to procure their forms now but are also advised to check the details herein before doing so.

Admission Requirements
  • Pre-Science Options: A minimum of 5 O’level credits in the basic science subjects (Chemistry, Physics, Biology & Geography) including English and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.
  • Pre-French Option: A minimum of 5 O’level credits including English and Mathematics and any other 3 subjects in Arts or Humanities. O’level French is an added advantage but not a priority
  • Remedial Studies: Minimum of three (3) credits. This Programme is for Science students who wish to remedy their deficiencies.

Pay N5,000.00 only and a transaction fee of N300.00 0nly using e-transact payment platform in any branch of the following banks:

Please read the instructions below carefully and adhere strictly to the processes provided in your online application in order to ensure that the application is submitted successfully.
First go to Bank: The application form is N5,000.00k only while online payment transaction charge is N300 making total of N5,300. Please pay this amount through etranzact pin vending to any branch of the listed banks above.
1. Pre-application Stage: Create an account with a valid email address and a password (please, use a password you can remember). After a successful creation of your account, click on “login” to provide your O’level Scratch Card detail (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB) and click “continue” to fill in your Biodata/Profile. Please make sure you keep to the same email address at this stage. Click “continue” upon successful creation of profile a verification email will be sent to the email you provided. Check your inbox and possibly your spam folder. Verify your email account and login to continue your application.
2. Qualifications: Provide all your academic qualifications up till date. Do this by clicking the “add qualification” button. Provide only relevant qualifications. Also provide your next of kin details. Save and move to step 3.
3. Fill in your O’Level Details: Fill in your O’Level results. Please note that you are to select your best grade if you are combining two results. Click “save and Next step” to move to Step 4.
4. Select your programme: Here you will be required to upload your passport photograph. Kindly ensure that only a clear passport size image is uploaded (max of 1MB). Note: without a clear image of the applicant, admission processing may be stalled. Also select your proposed programme here and other required fields. Tick the declaration box, “save” and move to Step 5.
5. Payment: Here you will be required to select your payment option. Select e-Tranzact pin vending then click on “select and pay fee”. If you pay at Microfinance, select this option, then scroll to the bottom to enter the e-Tranzact confirmation number or PIN obtained from the bank and click verify. Your payment will be verified and you can print your application receipt with your “Applicant ID”. Please note that you have to quote the “Applicant ID” in all future correspondence with the School in regards to your admission.
6. Print your payment receipt and Application Summary.
A copy each of the above alongside Photocopies of relevant document should be sent to:

Note:
The safety of your confirmation number is important, do not give it out until it is necessary or required to complete your application.
If you are offered admission by the University, you will be required to pay your fees fully at the commencement of registration. Please, do not forget to quote your Applicant ID for enquires.

Returning Applicant: Use Returning Applicant link http://nsuk.edu.ng/returning-applicant-login/ to login, select Prelim and enter your Application email and password. This is required if you have completed step1 of your application or you want to login to your profile to check your application status.
