The American University of Nigeria (AUN) which was founded by Nigeria’s former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, held its 7th Commencement Ceremony on Saturday. The event took place at the Lamido Aliyu Musdafa Commencement Hall of the school in Yola, Adamawa state.
Dignitaries at the event include the APC national chairman, Chief
John Odigie-Oyegun, the governor-elect of Kano state, Dr. Abdullahi Umar
Ganduje, and the US ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador James Entwistle.
Interestingly, one of the graduating students was the son of the founder, Aliyu Atiku Abubakar, who received his Bachelor of Arts Degree on International & Comparative Politics. Daughter of the Kano governor-elect also graduated at the event.
