I want to ask what appropriate answers that can be provided when asked about the reason for wanting to leave your current employer to join a new organization. Twice I have been asked and I realise my responses were not really convincing.

Answers.......

I need new challenges or I'm not intellectually challenged and no platform for questions or questioning in my current job.
Or I need a room for improvement in my career.

career is ahead....you have to be progressive to get there. I believe this is a dynamic company and a stepping stone because I am ready to deliver my best to the fullest.

Ah, this is a great (and very common) question. To begin, your interviewer is looking to see your response to determine your character. As a candidate, you should never use this question to bash your current or previous employer. Nor should you use this question to make yourself look bad by saying something like, 'I just couldn't handle it.' or 'I didn't like my co-workers'. The best response is: 'I am looking for the experience that can prepare me better for my future as a ____. I have been told that your company is known for developing people professionally...ect. etc.' Good luck!!

..You can respond by saying the job is not challenging, thereby you need a more challenging job & you strongly believe that this company is the right fit for you.

just tell them you want new challenges. That if given an opportunity the new job will bring out the best in you.
