The government of Flanders, Belgium is offering Master Mind scholarships to interested and eligible students for the 2015/2016 academic session. The successful applicant should be admitted as a full-time student at a higher academic institution when applying, and applies to be admitted for a master’s degree program at a higher academic institution in Flanders.
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
The program intends to make known the Flemish Higher Education worldwide. The scholarships are meant for students who want to enroll for master degree programs at Flemish institutions. The first set of scholarships will be awarded during the 2015/2016 academic session.
About 35 scholarships will be available to successful applicants and the scholarship has a duration of at least one year, after which, if the students gets less than 45 ECTS in their first year they will lose out on the scholarship for the second year.
A total value of 7500 Euros will be given to successful applicants every year.

Scholarships are awarded for all field of study
ELIGIBILITY
When applying, applicant should be registered at a higher academic institution
Applicants should be good academically and have very good results and grades
Should have the necessary language requirements to enroll for the program
The applicant’s home institution and the Flemish host institution should have signed a cooperation agreement
HOW TO APPLY
Applications are done online, with the following documents attached:
A copy of passport
Transcripts showing results and grades
If transcripts are written in a different language, necessary translation should be provided
Test results of official language
Recommendation letters from two professors from your home institution
A letter of intent
Copies of certificates obtained, if they are written in other languages, translation should be provided
A copy of cooperation agreement between Flemish Host and Home Institution
Applicants are selected based on a Flemish selection committee that awards applicants the scholarships, in conjunction with the Flemish Department of Education and Training.
