Using this platform, we wish to notify and inform all members of the general public that the sale of online application forms for admission into the 3RD Regular Course of degree the programme of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, has already commence on Wednesday,. the 12th of November 2014 and has been scheduled to end on Tuesday, the 31st of March 2015.
It’s also important to note here that admission to the Academy is open to both male and female Nigerians of good character.
Guidelines on How to Apply for Admission into NPA Wudil
All interested candidates/applicants should note that they are required to purchase what is known as PIN CODES, and these pin codes can be purchased from any of the branches of Zenith Bank Plc nationwide at the cost of N3,500.00(Three thousand, five hundred Naira) only, and these includes bank charges of N500.
All applying candidates should then log onto the Academy’s official website at www.nigpoliceacademy.org, where they are expected to fill and submit their online application form.
It’s also important here, to note that all applicants must, in addition, apply through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board and indicate the Nigeria Police Academy Wudil as their first choice university, as well as sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Submission of Application
Please, all interested applicants should be aware that applications are to be submitted online. Also take note that on submission of the applications, candidates are required to download the acknowledgement form. After the release of JAMB RESULTS, candidates who score at, or above, the national cut-off marks should return to the Police Academy website and download their examination cards. Only candidates who score at, or above, the national cut-off marks will be enabled to download and print the examination card.
Qualification for Nigeria Police Academy Wudil For 2015
a. All candidates who are seeking admission into the Nigeria Police Academy must be Nigerian citizens and must be between the age of 18 (years) and 22 (years) of age.
All applicants must have a height of not less than 5 foot 6 inches (1.67metres) but this differs in Genders.

If you’re male, its 5 foot 6 inches (1.67 metres)
If you’re female, its 5 foot 4 inches (1.62 metres).
If you’re female, its 5 foot 4 inches (1.62 metres).
In addition, male candidates must have an expanded chest size of not less than 36 inches (91cm).
All candidates must be free from any physical or mental disability.
b: It’s important that all candidates must have obtained a minimum of SIX credits at the following:
Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) which is conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC),
The National Examinations Council (NECO),
National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB)

You must obtain these result at not more than 2 sittings, and this must include a credit pass in English Language and Mathematics as well as subjects relevant to the candidate’s chosen course of study in the Academy.
c. All applying candidates should note that they must obtain satisfactory scores in both the written examination and the interview and must pass rigorous physical psychological tests of fitness before been admitted into the academy.
d. This one is important, and here’s it:
STATEMENTS OF RESULT OR CERTIFICATES RELATING TO EXAMINATIONS TAKEN BEFORE 2010 WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE NIGERIA POLICY ACADEMY.
NPA WUDIL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION DATE, CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
The Nigeria Police Academy (NPA) Wudil Entrance Examination, which is similar to the Post-UTME examination in conventional universities, has been scheduled to commence, and the management board has announced that they will be conducting the examination on Saturday, the 3oth of May 2015.
Please all interested applicants should take note that only candidates who achieve a UTME Score at, or above, the national cut-off points will be eligible to sit for the Nigeria Police Academy Entrance Examination at their designated centres.
All qualified candidates are to bring along to the examination venue the following documents which are listed below:

Two postcard size photographs (3.5×5 inches)

Which should show only from the chest upwards. At the back of each of the two post-card size photographs, the candidates must write their name, State of origin, examination centre and signature.
Take note that only candidates who are successful in the Entrance Examination conducted by the examination body will be invited for the Nigeria Police Academy Selection Board Interview.

NATURE AND DURATION OF COURSE
All applying candidates, aspirants who are admitted into the Nigeria Police Academy degree course will undergo a combined police and academic training for a minimum period of five years leading to Bachelor’s degrees and commission in the Nigeria Police Force as Assistant Superintendents of Police.
