No fewer than seven students of the Abia State University, Uturu obtained first class degree from the university on Saturday.
Its Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Chibuzor Ogbuagu, who spoke during its convocation, noted that graduates of the university had received enough training to compete favourably with their contemporaries from across the globe.
He urged them to lead exemplary life as well as to remain worthy ambassadors of the institution.
Ogbuagu, while commending the support of the state government to the school, promised that his leadership would continue to provide the enabling environment for academic excellence.
He also lauded the intervention of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, noting that its support was responsible for many of the infrastructural developments in the university.
